Starting with iPhone 8, the back glass is laser-welded to the frame.
Incell LCD: Cost-effective, decent clarity, thinner profile, weaker sunlight visibility
Soft OLED: Closer to Apple’s original OLED performance, better brightness and contrast, better impact resistance than hard OLED
Service Pack: OEM panels (often pulled or refurbished), original digitizer and IC, premium quality — often used in professional refurb setups

BMS Transfer: Physically transplant the original battery’s chip to the new cell
IC Programming: Clone original data using tools like JC-V1SE, Qianli iCopy Plus, or BatReader
This allows Battery Health to display and suppresses the warning, though the device still won’t pass Apple’s internal diagnostic scan.
